Michael Pari
I took this image when my best friend’s family was in grief after the passing of their grandfather. As a photographer and film director, I think what’s most important is to capture a story. Here I caught my good friend’s happiness in-between their tears. For me, an important aspect of capturing moments like these is capturing them as true to life as possible. Therefore, I am using a polarizer and slight neutral density filter to bring the detail back in the sky that would usually be white and overexposed without the use of these tools. Capturing an image as true to life as possible makes you feel like you’re in the moment. For that, I would like for you all to admire my friends. If you would like to see more of my work, especially my film directing work, feel free to visit my website michaelpari.com and see how I strive to make a bigger impact one step at a time.
