An artist creates something out of nothing. Having the ability to create anything is not as easy as believed; countless hours and a graveyard of paintbrushes are the truth artists hide behind their rewarding work. Originality is hard to come by when you have been influenced by exceptional work. Intrusive thoughts flood your mind and blind you from your work and goals. Yet, the illusion of seeing your work complete, the hope of seeing your work evolve and be admired is what fuels your desires as an artist.

I do not seek admiration; I seek to perfect images and thoughts that lie in my mind. To perfect the dreams that dance around my mind on countless nights. I wish to showcase my evolution of self-growth hand in hand with my beloved creations. I wish to simply create for myself as a way to heal and explore new methods to have unique elements in my work. I hide significant personal elements to my works, whether it’s a memento I have been holding onto since I was a kid, or the symbol of the flower my second name comes from. My work has a recuring theme incorporating elements found in the ocean and nature. I have always had a strong connection to the ocean. Boundless, endless amounts of blue hold the power to create out of nothing. I wish to abide by the will the ocean holds, to simply exist with no expectations.
I do acknowledge my work may be self-centered; nonetheless, it is the only thing I can do to express myself and grow my given purpose. I will forever be in a search to perfect my artistic aspirations; you the people are the ones who determine if you want to walk beside me on this journey.
