Hello! My name is Arwen. I began working for Aeolus as the Literature Editor on Volume 12. This year, I have the honor to serve as Editor in Chief. I have always been a creative; I am a writer and a photographer. My love for English has pushed me in the direction of wanting to become a teacher. However, I continue to run a small photography business on the sidelines!
Sarah Graham, Managing Editor
Hi! I’m Sarah, the Managing Editor for Aeolus. I am currently a sophomore, pursuing my associates degree, and soon an associate of science degree in digital and interactive media. I have a passion for media production and absolutely love being the media engineer at my church! Outside of school, I enjoy baking, photography, video editing, and playing/listening to music. I’m so excited to see what this year’s magazine withholds and sharing it with everyone!
Amanda Rigazio, Literature Editor
Born in New England and raised in the South, I’m currently a sophomore pursuing a path toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics. An aspiring astronomer, I find peace in the cosmos, in nature, and in quiet moments of meditation. Writing has always been my way of giving a voice to the thoughts and feelings that don’t always come out in conversation.

My name is Samantha Criscuolo! I am from Jacksonville, Florida, but live here in Daytona for my studies. I am a photography major and have a passion for fashion and editorial photography. I aspire to be a creator and to continue making artwork that make both myself and others happy!

I am Jammi Zelaya. I live in Deltona; Florida and I am studying criminal justice. After DSC I plan to attend FSU. I love Spider-Man, and I love photography.

Blessed to grow up with parents who called me “Mala pulga.” Although you may view it negatively, that nickname grew with me and my creativity. My passion led me to join AEOLUS, and I am deeply grateful to be a part of an amazing team. I’m still that pulga to this day, you can call me Angel though.
Patricia Mercado, Webmaster
I’m Patricia Mercado, a soon-to-be software engineer who moved from Puerto Rico to Florida to chase bigger goals and grow as both a creator and a problem-solver. I’m into web development that’s not just functional, but thoughtful—especially when it comes to preserving history and making it look sharp. I work hard, learn fast, and take pride in building sites that feel intentional and alive. My goal in life is to open a cozy little café—something I’ve always dreamed of—and use my tech skills to make it a space that’s creative, welcoming, and uniquely mine.

Thank you for visiting our website! I’m Dr. Harun Karim Thomas, Dr. T for short, and I’m starting my sixth year as advisor of Aeolus. I’m always fascinated and grateful to be a part of this tight group of committed individuals. On day 1, we start out with nothing, but by the end of the semester, we end up with an impressive magazine. In my spare time, I play drums, read, write, watch fútbol and football, and travel with family.
