Dizzy, Dizzy – Ayusha Dzhabrailova

Dizzy, Dizzy

by Ayusha Dzhabrailova

You deserve worlds

So how did I end up

On the one

With you in it?

Trillions of stars

In our galaxies

But you still manage

To outshine them all.

Universes moved in a frenzy

All around you

And I can’t say I blame them

When I do that too.

We get lost in the cosmos

And I swear I can barely breathe

With all the star dust

Filling my chest.

And as the moons orbit around us

They’re not the things

That are making me

Dizzy.

So how about we dance on Saturn’s rings?

Where the clouds can’t reach us

And even the milky way

Grows jealous of what we have.

And don’t worry

If we can’t find our way back

Because the sun never sets

Here.

And between planets

And worlds

It’s just

You and me.
