Jessica Boatman has been enrolled at Daytona State College since Fall 2020. She has been on the President’s List for the past two semesters and received a Foundation scholarship last semester. Jessica is majoring in Interactive Digital Media Production. She is inspired by life in general and the beautiful synchronicities, angles, shapes, and shadows of even the simplest forms. She became aware of the opportunity to work with the Aeolus literary magazine at the end of her fall semester when her ENC1101 professor approached her and said that he thought she might be interested in working with the Aeolus committee since she was one of the best students in his class. She was also featured on the DSC Facebook page for the You Belong Here campaign in April of 2021 and she was able to have an article featured in DSC’s newspaper In Motion as well.

She was also featured in both DSC’s “You Belong Here” Facebook campaign in April 2021 and the student newspaper InMotion.
